Spring adventure 2015 - Part 1

Salam

So this time around I went to Tokyo in Spring to see the blossoming Sakura. Initially it was somewhat worrying that the sakura might have fallen by the time we arrived since they're weather dependent. We were there for 6 days, and lucky enough to be able to enjoy the pretty sakura

Safely landed at Narita airport

Day 1
Ueno Park
After we got off from the plane around 9am, we took a direct train from Narita airport to Tokyo Station. We kept our luggage in the coin lockers available at the station as our lodging check-in time is 3pm. We then head to Ueno Park excitedly. The temperature was 8 degree celcius

It was cold but people still came to enjoy the view

Our next stop is Tokyo Skytree

Pit stop at a kebab shop for lunch. I love the spicy sauce, and the meat was cooked well

Riverside view seen from the train on the way to Tokyo Skytree

Tokyo Skytree
It is the world's tallest 'free-standing communication tower' at 634m. The observatory decks are at 350m and 450m. If you are lucky enough, you might be able to spot Mount Fuji from the observatory. We did not go to the observatory deck as we planned to see the night view from the Tokyo Metropolitan Building. After taking some proof shots of the Skytree we head off to our lodging in Shinjuku.

Tokyo Skytree Station is just a walk away from the Skytree

Heading off to our lodging in Shinjuku

Tokyo Metropolitan Government Offices
The enormous grey granite complex was designed by the city's master modern architect Tange Kenzo. The observatory is on the 45th floor at the height of 202m. On a clear day a glimpse of Mount Fuji can be seen to the west. It was a 15 minutes walk from our lodging. It was a cold and windy night, but we enjoyed the night walk

It's the C-day! Congratulations!

Salam

It was a fine saturday, tapi sampai ke Stadium Nilai dengan muka sembab. Well, at least I wasn't on the night shift the day before. Seronok jumpa kawan-kawan. Sembang-sembang, tukar-tukar cerita, bagi semangat pada sesama sendiri.

Kalau dapat bergambar dengan lecturers tentu lebih seronok.

Let's keep these happy faces throughout the rest of our journey

Congratulations!

I just can't get enough looking through the convocation pics. Maybe I missed you guys a little bit too much, that I went through the old pictures of us.

Down the memory lane

This is just too cool! Credit to Dr Rahman.

The 4 sentenced song

Hi

This is one of my favourite song. The combination of electric guitar and the live orchestra is just too cool. It's kinda interesting since it has only 4 sentences, yet meaningful.

I hear your voice
I hear your voice

I hear your voice
I hear your voice

Even though I try not for the life of me to hear it
Even though I try not for the life of me to hear it

I hear your voice

Even though I try not for the life of me to hear it
Even though I try not for the life of me to hear it

I hear your voice
I hear your voice

Even though I try not for the life of me to hear it
Even though I try not for the life of me to hear it

I hear your voice
