Another Visit To The Historical City

8 years back, our parents brought us to visit the historical places in Malacca. it was fun.there are soooo many places to see. we all know what's there in The Historical City and we only have to walk from one place to another.one day is won't be enough to visit the places, especially if you're appreciating those relics.

semalam, pergi melaka lagi. kali ni malam pulak. sampai dalam pukul 10.ramai jugak orang. cuti2 ni, ramai orang keluar dgn family. mcm kitorang la.malam tu kat tepi sungai melaka ada pameran lampu sempena tahun baru cina.

lepas tu, jalan kaki pergi kat menara taming sari. panjang betul barisan orang nak naik menara tu. kami pun naik jugak...it's not like any typical tower, there's no elevator or stairs.instead, the observation deck that moves up and down, providing the view of the city as it moves.

by that time, it was past midnight. on the way back, we stopped near the A'Famosa. the crowd has gone though some people are still there.it's a good opportunity to get a few snaps.

then, we had supper before we go home. this is the kind of holiday our parents always give us. doesn't cost much, but still enjoyable.thanks mom and dad!!

The VC Trophy

we're currently short of debater. why? because of they say there can only be 2 person in a team who had represented the university.even if that person is a reserved. the problem is, we had a hard time finding people to participate the royals last time. 3 teams=12 people.6 out of 12 are FPSK debaters and it make it harder to find new debaters. plus the fact that it's going to be held in the same week with the mid-semester exam.

7-8th feb : preliminary round

9th feb : holiday

10th feb : anatomy exam

currently we need at least one person to make up 2 teams without any reserve. hope we'll find that person.asap.

isu biasiswa

malam pengenalan mpp. dlm byk2 ucapan mlm tu, ucapan dato' shukor antara yg menarik perhatian (though it's quite long). ada la beberapa kali dgr dia berucap, one that i can conclude is that he speaks from his heart. sbb tu la berkesan (unless you're not listening). Isu JPA mlm tu calon2 dari pandan ada ckp pasal biasiswa lambat dapat. ada yg kata terpaksa korek tabung utk beli makanan. setakat yang saya tau, senior2 ada yg dah nak habis semester pun x dpt2 lagi biasiswa.mmg kesian la.tp, saya bukan nak citer pasal senior. based on my observations of my own batch regardless medical or dental, i would say that dato' shukor had a point about financial management.. though i'd say that ramai jugak yg pandai jaga duit and i respect those people. tapi...ramai jugak yg x berapa nak control duit belanja.belanja ikut hati, kadang2 sampai tahap membazir pun ada. pernah ada yg pergi shopping sampai 2-3 ratus semata-mata sebab tension. ada jugak yg sedar diri terlebih berbelanja, tp dia kata 'nak buat mcm mana, mmg saya mcm ni..' ada jugak yang seleranya agak mahal..dan akhirnya menyusahkan diri sendiri mcm2 ragam.. ada kwn2 yg parents dia loaded skit, biasiswa jpa dah habis,masih ada biasiswa FaMa...tapi kesian la kat parents.patutnya dah dapat biasiswa ni x payah la nak mintak duit lagi.biarlah duit tu parents kita guna untuk benda2 lain.utk diorang sendiri,sbb selama diorang jaga kita apa2 pun mesti lebihkan kita. kalau nak beli sesuatu utk kepuasan sendiri mesti fikir berkali-kali sbb takut nanti nak guna duit tu untuk anak2. kalau yang ada adik2, biarlah duit tu parents kita guna untuk adik2.kurang sikit beban sbb x payah fikir pasal kita. kawan2, bukan niat nak mengutuk atau memburukkan, tapi nak ajak kwn2 berubah. belajar dpd pengalaman. duit xkan dtg bergolek..we have to work for it. skrg mungkin x rasa, tp nanti bila dah kerja, baru kita rasa.macam mana susahnya ibubapa kita cari duit.waktu tu nanti baru kita nampak betapa pentingnya financial management. lagi satu, duit biasiswa sebenarnya satu amanah..we all know very well where does the money come from. buka sikit mata,luaskan sikit pandangan..tengok dunia luar.macam mana org yg kurang bernasib baik kat luar sana. mcm mana susahnya nak cari duit.dan macam mana peritnya nak besarkan anak2 kalau duit yang ada x seberapa. so friends, let's sit for a while and reflect. how did we spend our money all these years.how can we improve our financial management. and most important, how can we contribute with it. minta maaf kalau ada terkasar kata.i know i'm not that good in writing things like this.
